About the Job
Corporate Safety Manager
- Must have a minimum of 10 years strong safety experience
- Degree related to HR or Safety preferred
- Travel required
- Experience must include:
- A minimum of 5 years supervising staff
- Leading OSHA visits and follow up responses
- “Train the trainer” for monthly safety meetings
- DOT management
- Environmental oversight
- Accident investigation
- Management of escalated claims
- Benefit management
- All types of insurance renewals (property, fleet, bus. interruption)
- Drug screening programs management (DOT, Pre-employment, Post accident & fit for duty)
Pluses:
- HR & Safety management in Mexico
- Previous collaboration with Executive and legal teams on acquisition projects
- Experience with Non-Compete agreements with employees & contractors
- Ability to complete customer surveys relating to PSC policy and regulatory compliance
- Leading employee complaint investigations
- Written responses to employment law challenges
- RIF and layoff management
- AAP experience
- Handbook revisions and Policy changes

PSC (Packaging Service Corporation) started and was founded in 1954 in Louisville, KY by D. Covington Logan. Mr. Logan had an extensive background in industrial packaging, and he felt the company could offer a valuable service to small businesses that did not employ fulltime packaging engineers.
